Who We Are
Lake Havasu Baptist Church (LHBC) is a multi-generational church whose mission is "Loving God, Loving People, Serving Both". It is our desire to be a place you can come, feel welcomed, feel at home, feel at peace and most importantly feel the presence of God.
Come just as you are, become part of our family and see what real community is all about.
LHBC is affiliated with Converge Worldwide Converge.org
and a part of Converge Southwest ConvergeSW.org
LHBC started in 1968 with three couples who moved from the Midwest. Land was made available by Robert McCulloch to the first five churches to commit to building in town. LHBC was one of those first five.
The current fellowship Hall was the original Sanctuary, and the current Worship Center was built in 1983. LHBC has been serving the community of Lake Havasu City for over 45 years.
Pastor Anthony Montana
Anthony D. Montana Jr., Senior Pastor
. Pastor Anthony D. Montana Jr. likes to tell people he has recently “retired” in Lake Havasu City! He is only partly kidding because he understands that what he “loves to do” as a Pastor, is his “job”. After 15 years of vibrant full-time ministry in various roles (janitor, hospice chaplain, marriage and family counselor, & wedding officiant), Anthony and His family are more thrilled than ever to meet the needs of both Lake Havasu Baptist Church and the community of Lake Havasu City.
Pastor Anthony was born and raised in Arizona. His greatest accomplishment is his marriage of 12 years to his wonderful wife Annasarah & their 3 happy, healthy children; Annaniah, Hadassah & Loukas. In his spare time, he finds great purpose in helping marriages and families thrive.
Pastor Anthony graduated Cum Laude from Veritas International University with his Masters in Theological Studies.
To recharge and reconnect, he sees the Earth as his playground and loves to explore all that it has to offer. He hosts an insatiable desire to learn and loves to read and try new things
His life verse comes from Philippians 1:21 and reads,
“For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.”

Dianne and her family love living in Lake Havasu and enjoy hiking and 4-wheel drive trips in the desert. Her family is her first passion and then sharing the truth of who Jesus really is with children and youth is her second.
Her life verse is: “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Galatians 6:9

Eric Rickett, Worship Director
I moved back to Lake Havasu City in 2018 from Southern California. While there, I served at Hope International Bible Fellowship in Hollywood and Pomona California. Our team ministered to the homeless population in Los Angeles, Hollywood and Skid Row.
Community Out Reach, is my passion and I’d like to invite all who are called, to join us at Lake Havasu Baptist Church. Through the Gospel of our Lord, Jesus Christ, we can truly share God's Love with our community...
Eric’s favorite song is “Glory To God Forever” by Steve Fee.
